120/365 - Oliver!

This is the resident Cockatoo (Oliver) at the Neuseway Nature Center in Kinston. We went there for the Derby picnic Saturday, took Jerry, had a great time with the girls, exploring all the different areas of the nature center. It was a nice day... but also sad because we had to take Jerry home that night. :(

Spending some QT with my little fairy tonight. There is a direct correlation by how little time I spend with him and how much he bites me. More time = more kisses = less biting. Obvious answer, but sometimes when  you don't spend time with your bird and he bites you, it makes you less inclined to stick your hand in there. Sometimes you just have to brave the bite to restrengthen the relationship.
