7/365 - New Curtains.... kinda.

OK, I know this picture is really lame. Project 365 is kind of just as much documentary as it is a challenge for me to be creative... or that is just an excuse for this last minute, ohmygod-it's-almost-midnight-I-need-to-take-a-photo-quick kind of thing.
If you saw my photo from this day then you may have noticed the clusterfuck of mess on my counter, including a curtain rod. When we moved in this past summer, I bought a curtain set. It was supposed to go on one window (like a top and bottom kind of thing), but my windows were small so I decided I would just split them up. I got 2 rods, but one was too short for this window! I swear both windows looked the same width. This house is wonky. It took me months to find the right size rod. Literally. So this poor curtain has been through hell being shuffled around the house waiting to be put up. Am I the only person that does this? Anyway, it finally had it's moment and it's up. Kind of covers up the cool light effect that I used to get in the kitchen from the sun pouring through my wine bottles.
Oh well. I've been meaning to hang those bottles on my apple tree out back. I'm sure once that's finished I'll be posting pictures. :) Maybe in the spring or summer.
